The public areas are exquisitely furnished and comfortably equipped with a luxurious lounge and dining area where you can observe delectable meals, prepared by a private chef, unfold before your eyes. To complement the wonderful weather, a sparkling rim flow swimming pool overlooking the water hole is on hand for a refreshing dip.
Typically the day starts as dawn breaks over the African bushveld. After an early morning wake-up call, coffee, tea and rusks are served on the main deck. Shortly after, depart in an open Land Rover with experienced Rangers and Trackers who will share their extensive knowledge of the bush. After a sumptuous breakfast is served either back at the camp or in the riverbed or bush, you have the opportunity of guided walks which are accompanied by an armed ranger and tracker. Alternatively, between game drives you might decide to spend lazy afternoons by the pool, bird watching or just relaxing on the deck from where you will spot a myriad of animals from your large cane wing back chair. The afternoon game drive is preceded by high tea and extends into the evening to view seldom seen nocturnal species by torchlight. Upon returning for a gourmet three course dinner, either in the boma, bush or lodge - you can socialize with a cognac, single malt or cigar around the campfire or lounge before returning to bed for another day's adventure.
