daydreaming and resting in the heat of the day. The honeymoon suite is positioned to afford complete privacy and the exclusive waterhole suite offers extra luxury with a private lounge and dining area with a preferential view of the waterhole. Air-conditioning and ceiling fans are provided in all the suites, along with a mini-bar, hairdryer and safe. A telephone is provided for those vital early morning wake up calls. Super-king size beds and the finest cotton linen will ensure that you arise refreshed for your day’s adventures.

Typically the day starts as dawn breaks over the African bushveld. After an early morning wake-up call, coffee, tea and rusks are served on the main deck. Shortly after, depart in an open Land Rover with experienced Rangers and Trackers who will share their extensive knowledge of the bush. After a sumptuous breakfast is served either back at the camp or in the riverbed or bush, you have the opportunity of guided walks which are accompanied by an armed ranger and tracker. Alternatively, between game drives you might decide to spend lazy afternoons alongside your private pool overlooking the river, or reading in the library, or selecting a prize African gift in the curio shop. If you want some pampering you can make use of the spa offering the latest beauty treatments with a range of luxuriant products and the added novelty of massages with a view over the rolling plains. The afternoon game drive is preceded by high tea and extends into the evening to view seldom seen nocturnal species by torchlight. Upon returning for a gourmet three course dinner, either in the boma, bush or lodge - you can socialize with a cognac, single malt or cigar around the campfire or lounge before returning to bed for another day's adventure.
