Our Lions and Birdies South Africa trip was simply amazing.

The golf was wonderful, views spectacular, accommodations and service 5 star, food, tours, people, and safari off the chart!

We would make the 15 hour flight again in a heart beat. What a way to celebrate our 25th anniversary. This was not simply a vacation, it was a trip of a lifetime!

Thank you for the lovely trip to South Africa. Your planning of the trip was impeccable. This was by far the best vacation we have ever taken and the sights and the golf were fabulous. The trip to South Africa in which we golfed, sipped fine South African wine and most all enjoy the wildlife on safari was a very special event. Your expertise in the culture, courses and fabulous hotels made it a trip of a lifetime not to be missed. I have travelled near and far and can not put in words the adventure that was had by all. You were a perfect guide and your knowledge of your native home made travelling hassle free. The seventeen days went by so quickly I wish I could have stayed longer.

More importantly I look forward to another Lions and Birdies Tour in the future and recommend that everyone see the beautiful sights that Africa has to offer travelers of all kinds.

Spectacular sightseeing trips, breathtaking and challenging golf courses, luxurious resorts, great food and wine, and encounters (practically face-to-face) with the wildlife on the private safaris – I don’t know what more one could ask for. This trip was without comparison, the best vacation I’ve ever taken. I definitely would like to go again.

If you’re looking for the trip of a life time the Lions and Birdies trip is just the one for you. We took this tour in January and are still enjoying the experience. There wasn’t one disappointing moment. South Africa is positively beautiful offering gorgeous water/ocean views and mountain ranges. The people are warm and welcoming. The food was terrific and South African wine has become one of our favorites. We stayed in some of the most fabulous and service driven lodgings we have ever experienced. From single cottages with all the amenities to individual “huts” with personal infinity pools facing a river where animals are drinking, they were all luxurious and handsomely appointed with professional attention to detail and every comfort imaginable. As enjoyable to play as the golf courses were they were also incredibly scenic and meticulously landscaped. They were challenging but fair. There were two of us who were not golfers and we never felt left out. We were provided with a personal tour guide whose love of country was infectious. He shared with us a more historical perspective and some otherwise not seen scenic views. The days provided for the “lions” part of the trip were most special. Our proximity to these gorgeous creatures was the biggest surprise. We saw all of the big five in their natural habitat and they were breathtaking and unforgettable.

This trip was excellent in its organization and in its selection of places to visit and choices of lodgings. It was well paced so one never felt rushed and tired. The consideration and comfort of the traveler was always apparent. We could not recommend this trip more highly.
